About a year ago I helped a group of extremely talented skateboarders put together some design and motion work for a contest they were entering for The Berrics. They ended up winning the contest and beating out videos submitted from across the globe. The prize was a week long – all expenses paid trip – to film and skate at The Berrics, a legendary training facility within the skateboard community. What makes this opportunity so unique is the amount of exposure each one of these guys receives by being seen on The Berrics. Only time will tell if they go on to be pro as a result of this trip. It’s a pleasure to skate with these guys here in Dallas and it was a blast to be able to go with them and watch them throw down a lot of these tricks.
