I worked with Felix Gilbert to create this digital illustration for Impact 2010. Felix developed a black/white 2d concept that had the “10″ being constructed/reconstructed. It was great to start with his idea and be able to create this illustration using Illustrator, Photoshop, and Cinema 4d! I chose a frontal shot of the constructed “10″ because it felt very iconic and focused less on it being “3d” – yet could not have been pulled of without C4d. My favorite projects are the ones that allow me to combine Illustrator, Photoshop, and C4d!

A break down of this illustration is featured in the current issue of Advanced Photoshop magazine #77. It should be hitting shelves in American the beginning of January.

I love it! Nicely done! I especially like how it seems to converge inside the zero and draw you back into the community. I will be picking up that issue!

Completely fantastic. Excellent work. I think you digitally produce what alot of designers see in their head, but have not figured out how to put it down, and then you kick it up a notch. Great job.
